  • Once when I was young,
    I think I was 23,
I was meditating in a chapel.
I had been sitting there quietly
    in a chair
    for some time.

    Then, I saw someone come
    in the door behind me.
    They walked down the aisle
    towards me.
I knew they were going to tell
me I had a phone call.
    I don't know how I knew,
    but I knew.
I saw them walking towards me.

    Suddenly, I was startled as
the person tapped me on my shoulder.
I was facing forward, with my
    eyes shut the whole time.
    How had I seen them?
    I don't know.

    The person said to me,
    "You have a phone call."
