  • He's had a breakdown. Having a breakdown. Ranging from despair to depression to rage to guilt and back again. It's a long process, this journey he's on, I know that much for sure.

    But he's drawing. Like he's never drawn before.

    Sure, he was always a scribbler, a doodler. Bits and pieces of this and that.

    But in this breaking down of who he was, a newfound passion for art is emerging. He draws obsessively, losing track of time, can't think of anything else. He enters that quiet space of all-there-is-is-drawing and he finds a new mental space to occupy. A place of hope and healing and pride and dare I say it, joy.

    It's just the beginning but I feel hope too. That someone can enter a deep, dark hole of the mind and find a way out. Perhaps with greater wisdom than before.
