  • The first day I watched you play an actual show I fell even more in love with you. Nights and nights of shed jams and three of us sitting on old musty couches led to this magical moment. Two of you up there playing songs I'd heard a thousand times and I was hooked on them like I'd never heard them before.

Ping pong and skittle vodka was the after party. I laughed so hard I cried.

Drinks and dancing at the bar which I never do was the after after party. We celebrated in a style that wasn't our own because it was the only place to go in town after 12:30AM.

Back in our room in our tiny twin bed with giant sheets on it. Laughing and trying not to wake up the others on our floor. I looked at you smiling so wide and I knew I was smiling just as wide.

"I'm going to marry you" you declared. I laughed because I felt the same thing in that moment and it seemed so suitable.

"No really- will you marry me?"

I floated up to some unknown cloud of happy and laughed so hard I cried a little.

A high five sealed the deal. You and me. Happy. Love.
