  • I spent some time at this high-altitude shrine (situated at 10500 feet above sea level!) I am quite sure that the intoxicating experience I had was not due to the low oxygen levels going to my head. It felt like a very powerful space. Apparently it was established over a 1000 years ago by a philosopher by the name of Adi Shanakaracharya, who roved all over India to create and establish such powerful spaces.
