  • SOME WELL-KNOWN and oft-quoted author (E.M. Forster, perhaps) once wrote words to the effect: How can I know what I think until I see what I say? Discovering Cowbird started me out in pursuit of some knowledge of how I think. In the process, it has presented me with a rich smorgasbord of how others think. That is a rich feast indeed. I could put names to some of the more delectable (to me) morsels, but that is not my point.

My wife thinks I spend entirely too much time irradiating myself in the glow of the computer monitor. I, on the other hand, thrive on it --- not the glow of the screen, but the glow of ideas, images, and points of view that enrich my soul just as nutritive delicacies enrich my corporeal support system.
