  • Bananas are strange fruit. Did you know that if you put them with other fruit, the fruit ripens faster. So I had to separate my bananas from the rest. My ananas that is, which, strangely, is what bananas are in Urdu, as well as in French.

    Now I wonder how that happened!

    (Oops.... Editing my story .... Bananas are not ananas at all in Urdu, but rather kayla... As in "a kayla" which two words combined effectively mean alone, akayla that is not a kayla; Having just made a pun... Or is it a play on words.

    Ananas however are pineapple in French, as well as in Urdu.

    Now I wonder, how THAT happened!!!)
