  • Friends. Who are your friends? Why do you choose the friends you choose? If they have any kind of positive affect on your life, how?

I have many friends. However at this time I can only say that out of my many friends only a handful of them are my very best. That's hard to believe, some may say, but this is true. You see, this particular handful of friends are smart, talented, uplifting, and bright. Actually there are many more things I love about these individuals but I really want to focus on this one thing about them that especially stands out to me most: they all have goals. They all want to become someone or do great things. And once I apply myself as well, someone who also wants to accomplish much, then we all become this working system of people who will do great things. And because we can all relate on this we can work with each other, help each other, and encourage one another to keep.

I was very careful when I decided who would be my friends and who I would allow into my life. And I can certainly say that I have chosen a great group of people. I knew I wanted to surround myself with those who would agree with my life choices, those who could make me laugh, but I knew that friends with goal and ideas would have the greatest affect on me. For I have learned many things from these I call my friends and I'm sure I have taught much to them as well. Even when I was just a child my father would tell me, "Choose your friends wisely. And if you are ever the smartest one amongst your friends, than you need new friends." Over the years I've come to truly appreciate these words. I do bot have time to hang out with those who do not make me a better person. I do not have the time to teach more and more but taught nothing. Today and everyday I must learn something new from someone or else the day is wasted, and if these who teach me aren't my best friends than that explains why they are not my best friends.
