  • 004 | Today Dad was told that, due to the fact that he walked across the room virtually unaided, he no longer qualifies for hospice. What a stubborn shit. He requested the nurse and I take him downstairs to play the piano. He said he feels rusty and needs to practice more. Every minute of this matters now. He’s going home tomorrow, and I’m taking the train back across the Midwest. I still have a dad.
