  • 003 | I didn’t think I’d ever talk to him again. He opened his eyes. They took the tube out. He couldn’t talk for hours. Then he started talking. He was confused. He might have brain damage. He hates the drugs so he requested/demanded to be taken off them, and the oxygen was “too cold” and felt “like poison” so the doctor took that out, too, and now he’s on hospice. They’re giving him morphine to keep him comfy while he dies.
