  • 002 | I’m trying to figure out whether or not a beautiful lake outside a hospital is cruel or kind. As I circle the lake over and over, tired of the smell of the clean hospital, there is nothing on my mind except whether or not my dad is going to live or die, and if he lives, will he be brain dead? I may not ever play tennis again with my only dad, the guy who introduced me to the sport when I was 12. Who gives a shit about a pretty lake?
