  • Distorted in thought

I wonder how I fade away

    Into someone's memories

    Like your's

    As I erase the sketch

    That I thought of

To wonder if I ever existed in your mind

    I ask you every question

That you hide the answer to

    Oh, yes, you know

Was I ever art to you??

How I would sketch my emotions

    Within my heart

    And to rip it apart

    To start another

    To have it perfect

To never show my rough lines

    Of ugliness

    But I never thought

    My distorted thinking

Could ever come out as anger

    For you never saw

    How beautiful I am

    Am I?

    I grab my frustration

    And kept on drawing

    I never was a master

    Of anything,

    But YOU

    Seem to have erased

    This sketch

    Of a thousand imperfections

    Within rough lines

That I tried to draw a perfect sun

And the clouds that you once saw

    Within my eyes

    Now I see

    In my sketches

How I just wasted all my pens

    On paper

    For nothing

    Because you saw the lies

    That was just me

    Just me

But never saw how beautiful these flaws were

    Because you saw perfection

    In someone else

    And you saw my lies

    My flaws

    While in my every strength

I try to show you MY perfection

    To only lie just because

So I can hold onto you

    For just once

    Because to me

    You are perfect

    That is etched

    In my mind

    And within my distorted thought

    There

    You lie

    As a

    Masterpiece

    My perfection

Pic-I tried to sketch myself from a picture my best friend took of me... I guess I wasn't in the mood to do a masterpiece...
