  • The Communist Party was having a meeting on the square in Farsta, where we were shopping for new sneakers for Folke. "Come on, let's go" I said.
"No, I want to stay and listen" he said.
After a good while I asked: "Shall we go now?"
"He's not finished yet", Folke answered.

    We waited.

On the way home, I told Folke that I had done that same thing thousands of times in the past – holding a speech in a public place.

    "Really? Why?" he asked.
"Because I had important things to say." I replied.
"What did you talk about, then?"
"Well, different things. War. Environment. Equal rights. Racism."
A statement that led me to explaining racism again:
"It is important to understand that all humans are equal, no matter where they're from or how they look or who they are".

Folke considered this for a while, then he declared his cousin Robin to be his most equal human.
