  • There’s so much beauty in the moment, such an abundance of life in each breath that we take, it’s easy to miss it for the other “important” thoughts that clamber for our attention.

“But what about this? Aren’t you worried about that? Shouldn’t you be doing this? What if you’re slipping into that? What if they screw you? What if you miss this deadline?”
  • Those thoughts will just have to wait – get in line! Right now, I have this moment to consider. All of those things may be true, and there may be some validity and truth to the facts you’re trying to lay down on my table, but for right now, for this moment, my table is cleared off and only has room for this…moment…now. I’ll get to you guys later – maybe. If you’re still hanging around, still needing my attention. If you haven’t given up in frustration at my lack of concern about your concerns about my own good. Yeah, I’m just a worthless dreamer, buying into all this “now” stuff, right?
  • That’s o.k. I’d rather be right here, than right.

    In this moment is life.

In this moment is everything I need.

    In this moment is freedom.

    Freedom from fear.

    Freedom from doubt.

    Freedom from guilt.

    Freedom from shame.

    Freedom from want.

    Freedom from hurt.

This moment has everything I need, and more than I could ever want.
  • Now…what was it you were saying?

    Hello?

Hmmm – hung up. Must not have been all that important, after all.
