  • Papa Cardinal spent all day helping Baby Cowbird leave the nest. Flying and eating and chatting together.

Today I am a Baby Cowbird myself. Entering into this community is a joyful experience. A place to speak personally! A place to be heard personally!

The quickening in me is much the same as I have felt when I have entered a new culture, a new country.... I want to notice and photograph it now because within a short time I know that I'll assimilate and no longer notice in the way I do today. Which is not good, not bad. Just a different relationship.

Why does it feel so different from other online experiences?

Is it because I am "loved" with a heart rather than "liked" with a thumbs up? Subtle but not so subtle a difference.

Is it because the transaction is limited so that it actually becomes the smaller part of the experience? I think that also gets close for me.

I am committed to evolving this meta-organism that, as Jonathan Harris says, is here to stay and that it is up to us to make it, "...into a place we want to inhabit."

For me that means exploring how to move from what I experience as a rather boring and flat 2D realm of information and transaction to at least a 3D realm where we add depth through experiencing and co-creating together with heart connections.

At this moment of learning to fly and eat and chat as a baby Cowbird, I am aware of how we are all babies in this medium. We surprise ourselves by these first experiences of spreading our wings. There's so much yet to come!

    Thank you, Co-Creators!
