  • The man tilted his head up toward the sun and closed his eyes. Then he peeled an orange and ate each slice, chewing slowly. He sat there for a long time, taking it in.

    I like to think that this man sensed me observing him and made the conscious decision to let me collect this moment, this small joy, so that it could become my joy, too.
