  • I'm not a sociable person. I'm kind of shy and silent. I like to listen to people more than talk. But if there is something I've discovered thanks to my current job is that you're able to make friends anywhere you go, if you are yourself and act accord to what you are, believe and think of.

I met Macarena, Marcela and Jesús thanks to the trip that changed my life.

Macarena is a professional photographer, she is from Chile. I've never met someone so spontaneous and fun in my life, she was also my bathroom mate on the ship (you have your personal cabin but you share the small bathroom between the two cabin spaces). Thanks to her I let myself go and be myself in more aspects than I dared to, then I discovered the fun of it.

Marcela is from Chile too, she studied film direction. She is really beautiful, has a smile that lits any place she gets too. She's a little nuts too. She was my first friend when I got to the ship, she received me, guided me and helped me on not getting lost in such a cryptic space. Thanks to Marcela I still believe that you can find love anywhere you go and change your own history.

Jesús is from Colombia, but he is a guy from the coast. Oddly enough he is not as scandalous as the people from that place. He is really elegant and a little serious. He studied politic sciences, somehow he neded up as a photographer. I really admire him, he's got courage and discipline, when he tells you he will accomplish something, he does.

These three were and will always be my partners in crime. With them we got to so many amazing places and shared things that happen only once in a lifetime.

When I got to this job I never thought I would make friends for life, my idea was different. Now I can say that one of the main reasons I love what I do, in spite of the little slavery it implies, is because of those great people I meet along the way. That changes your life even more than putting dots in a map.
