  • Saracá (feast) is a celebration the night before a wedding where huge pots of meat, pigeon peas, provision, and dumplings are cooked over wood fires. String music is played round-the-clock by the couple's house and everyone comes out to celebrate. This is a rendition of Third World's '96 Degrees in the Shade' at a Mayreau saracá with guitars, drums, cow bells, and the fork-and-beer-bottle.
