  • When I was in art class, I was asked to do a picture inspired by Salvador Dalí. Dalí was known for his paintings' surrealism, which imparts a dreamlike quality to his work.

    My piece was a bizarre self-portrait in which, instead of drawing a head, I glued a picture of an animal head on top of my neck.

    I pasted the head of a boar atop my head and drew a prison scene for what I entitled BOARED IN PRISON, which is the picture for this story.
