  • I played my first Final Fantasy-game in 1998 or 1999: Final Fantasy VII. The story made a great impression. It made it important to master the fighting system, and to level up. I spent hours on a boring island in the game, letting my characters get hit thousands of times to max out their limit breaks. Because I really needed to save the world. Not to mention that I'm still mad about the fate of Tifa. I played all the other games since, and some of the previous. Most of the games I've played two or three or four times.

When your characters die, you can revive them with an item called Phoenix Down. You find them here and there throughout the game. If you have a Phoenix Pinion, you can revive the whole party. Ever since I started playing, I've collected the few purple and red feathers I've found in real life. The red ones are Phoenix Downs, the purple ones are Phoenix Pinions.

When I was doing the sunday cleaning of the house, I found another one. I feel like I actually have another Phoenix Pinion.
