  • Susanne Heisse gave me this beautiful basket a while ago. It is made of a special grass that grows around the lake. The basket was too small to put certain objects into it and too big for others. I loved it, but it was hanging around for quite a while without ever being used for anything. The other day looking at it I suddenly knew what needed to fill it: my many buttons that I collect for whenever I get inspired to glue collages together! These were put in a very ugly metal box so far.

Once I had put the buttons into the basket I felt good, my heart grew wide, I just loved to look at this. I even enjoyed the sound the buttons made when they glid into the basket, the two materials combine nicely and softly, buttons and basket enhance each other...or don´t you agree?

This is such a small detail of my home and my life, but observing it conciously I felt what the sages say: that in all its imperfection the world is perfect.

Whenever I feel that this is true, peace invades my heart, all is good, I do not have to fight, I can just flow....
