  • Following the death of Nelson Mandela, I'm reminded of Mandela's plea to the United States to free Leonard Peltier.

This is a recording I produced in 2000, featuring the words of Leonard Peltier from his book "My Life is My Sun Dance", as read by his editor, Harvey Arden.

There's so much that could be said here about the injustices were committed and that continue to go on for Native Americans, but I'll defer to this excerpt, hoping that perhaps a few who hear this will look up the case surrounding Leonard Peltier and consider writing the President about the case. I believe that President Obama is the right person to free Mr. Peltier.
