  • I would never had thought I would feel so comfortable outside my comfort zone, thousands of miles away from home.

I opened myself to a new city, to a new country, to a new world. I made the “away” feel like home, built a family with total strangers.

I let myself be deeply and truly seen. I got hurt by people I barely knew, but got stronger with the help of strangers I felt I knew since kindergarden.

I let my mind and body wonder about new perspectives, fueled my heart with new experiences, expanded my universe by simply taking a walk and breathing new air.

I finally felt the true experience of living and not just existing, surviving. Breathing, eating, learning, sharing, exploring, wondering.... everything has a sense now. I'm following new paths; I'm building something meaningful.

Yes, everything makes sense to me now. I struggled but I've found knowledge, I've found passion, I've found love. And most importantly, I've found myself and never have I felt so alive.
