  • Sometimes the bliss is overwhelming - as yesterday when my old friend Carolina had her 60th birthday - party.

I even put a hat on, I smoked a cigarette !!! Haven´t smoked a cigarette in at least 2 years ( and don´t worry, I have never smoked except in situations like these!9, I will not fall into the abyss. I had Tequila with Granate Apple. Wow, I could fall into the abyss for and with that maybe!

We were 13 Women - friends, most of us know each other since several decades. Thirty years ago we founded an alternative - then Waldorf - - school in town. Some were mothers, other teachers, several both. My boys attended the school and now my grandkids do. Carolina has been the literature - teacher of them all.

Many of us do not meet each other too often anymore, the city has grown - 10 times the size it was back then in the early eighties - but many of our - now grown - children are friends, some of our grandkids are. Some of these women just brought Jane Goodall to town

    Meeting Jane

Sometimes I forget my age, my bad eyesight and all the other little and sometimes bigger sufferings. Sometimes, laughing with friends life feels just joyful and good and love is there and a ton of gratitude and good food and so much laughter that I imagine this laughter must be able to cure the whole world for a moment....
