  • We were out at Fruitlands walking around when Peter spotted an apple tree. He lives on a tropical island and apples don't grow there - bananas, oranges, lemons, etc, but no apples. He harvested one small gnarled fruit and quickly took a bite. I didn't see him pick the fruit but I caught him taking a bite. We had been apple picking at an orchard the previous weekend so he had it in his head that all apples were edible. He was wrong.
