  • “I've just closed my eyes again
Climbed aboard the dream weaver train
Driver take away my worries of today
    And leave tomorrow behind”

    Gary Wright, Dream Weaver

Lately, I've been having such rich, involved dreams, that almost seem and feel like an entirely different life I'm leading while sleeping. Upon awakening, the feeling of the dream lingers for a long while, staying with me as I begin my day, here in the “real world”. Details fall away almost immediately, long before I have a chance to get them down. They are so different from any frame of reference I have to put them into some sort of logical thought, they slip away before I can reconcile them with my own waking life. But still - the feeling of the dream lingers well into my waking existence.
  • I liked last night's/this morning's dream feeling so much, I consciously decided to nurture it and keep it going, bringing it with me well into the day. It worked for a good three hours, all the way into work on the Metro, almost like it carried me for awhile. It was such a cool feeling, I just didn’t want to let it go! I just focused on it, rather than the crappy physical way this cold, and the medicine I'm taking for it, have been making me feel. In fact, I think there is still an inner sense of warmth and security that are still here, from the dream. The stuffed up head, clogged ear, and fuzzy brain are still factors, but it’s like I just don’t care about them. I’m happy and comfy in my dreamstate feeling, still

I'm grateful for the dream that gave me this feeling. It was a wonderful gift to take with me into an otherwise rather bleak Friday. A true blessing!

Thanks, dream weaver! Keep sending these cool feeling dreams!
