  • Winter is coming!

Chilly and cloudy all day long today, and the sweats were just right for getting out in the backyard and getting the pergola and it's contents ready for the upcoming snow. Felt just right to start a small fire in the fire pit while I was removing the roof tarp, and gathering the lawn furniture on the pad, and covering it with a large weather proof tarp and tying it down. I've got plenty of firewood, so I do believe we will continue to break out the folding lawn chairs and gather around the pit with some hot cocoa on snowy days this winter. I'm looking forward to taking the kids out to Bradley Park when it snows and watching them sliding down the hill.

Aerobic day, and after the compulsory ab workout, headed down to the Gazelle for 30 minutes of ear candy with Foreigner. Try keeping up with that for 30 minutes. I don't believe their drummer knows another tempo than 8/4 time.

Not a lot to report today, so I'll just leave you with a thought. There is no better feeling than the one you get when you know you are doing a good job. If you've been keeping up with me, or doing another workout diligently, take the time to look in the mirror and admire what you've done. It's hard work, and you deserve to appreciate it.

I hope you are having a blessed day.
