  • From dark energies away, a tiny spec spun through multiverses, rode on comet trails and rested here. It waited quietly, careful not to create disturbance. Then, without fanfare, still, in broad daylight it took in everything we had to offer. It used only what was needed and left the rest to ruminate.

    Brother found it on his porch mid a humid Tuesday afternoon. He emailed me this picture and tagged it, “They’re here.” Our advancements hardly did justice.

    I wonder what other emissaries arrived this way. I wonder… if the roles were reversed, would we (humans) be just as peaceful?
