  • I was fortunate enough to experience the beauty and mystery of the great Okavango Delta when I visited Chief's Island last year. This photograph was taken at sunset just as all the mokoros (dug out canoes) were coming in from the day's travels through the expansive waterways of the delta. It was a magical time and place made special by the kind and welcoming Batswanans I met along the way. Truly a feast for the eyes and soul.
