  • Can you believe this image????

I could hardly believe that this was not a Persian carpet, but the carpet of autumn on a dirt road near the tiny and funky and struggling town of Escalante in Utah.

My husband and I went into ecstasy, into a frenzy clicking the cameras here and there and here again.

I have never in my life before seen such beauty, taking my breath away, if a fairy had appeared from under these tree canopies I would not have been surprised at all.

The whole day we spent in this landscape and just two other cars passed ours and they were local fishermen, who had tried their luck in the lakes up there.

And now I have to be deeply grateful to the US - Congress for having shut down the parks, because had Bryce Canyon been open, we would have never ever driven up to this autumn - orgasm!
