  • About 5 years ago, I went rock climbing for the first time in my life. I remember climbing only a few feet off the ground before I got stuck, paralyzed with fear. With the encouragement of others below along with the warmth and sturdiness of the rock comforting me, I somehow found a way to pull myself up. Past the fear and anxiety that demanded to be felt, and onto a ledge that revealed some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen.
