  • THE DILEMMA IN SUCCINCT TERMS:
We have a need to love.
We have a need to be loved.

    THE WAY IT ACTUALLY WORKS:
What we need we cannot love.
What we think we need cannot bring us to love.
The very nature of need presumes lack.
    Perceived lack renders evidence
    to the contrary invisible
even though it permeates our environs.

    THE SUGGESTED SOLUTION:
    Throw away all needs.
Turn your attention to the constant presence of love,
no matter where you are or who you are with.

    LIFE LAB OBSERVATIONS:
    Easy, yet hard.
Always available, yet seemingly out of our grasp.
Here, yet far down the road.
    Simple, yet complicated.
Clear to see, yet difficult to put into practice.

    CONCLUSIONS:
    Are you kidding?
    You overestimate me.

    Let’s just keep going.
