  • It is Day one.
As I step into a new beginning, I am excited, jacked with anticipation.
    Everything is new, now.
I see the world as through a new pair of glasses.
The world looks a little sharper.
I hear birds chirping, squirrels scampering through the trees, hopping from branch to branch.
I Smell the fresh, cooler air in the morning, the first signs that summer will soon end.
The blood pumping through my veins is renewed, with an increased sense of urgency to get to each of my organs, to get all my parts working together, in harmony.

    Damn….it’s great to be alive!

I look all around me, and take it all in.

Is it possible that I survived?

    How?

    What do I do now?

    Where do I go?

One step in front of the other. Let’s go.
