  • Space on paper was put at a premium, use every part you can. Do not use contractions. Always be polite and address other students by Mr or Ms. Take out every unnecessary word you can. Simplify, then let the reader fill in the gaps.

    Most importantly you held us accountable. People, friends, family said I should have been mad you failed me, that it was not fair. But doing a semester of work in two weeks cannot count as passing.

    Truthfully I could never fault you for that. At the end of the day I still learned. I still grew. And any time I write I can thank you for teaching me how.
