  • I write random thoughts on notecards while I do yoga in the morning. Today I looked at my pinched, chicken scratch handwriting, and I made a decision: I was going to change it.

I read a book once, called Change Your Handwriting, Change Your Life. I don't have it anymore. But I remember in that book it said that you could change your personality by changing the way you formed certain letters.

So I tried it this morning. I consciously made all my O's and A's and E's very round, like childish circles. I have no idea what personality trait that's supposed to change. It's just different from what I normally do.

I hated it. But I did it anyway.

Because what I hate more is being limited to one way of being.
