  • When I was a child
I had a metal heart necklace
With a little key hanging from the chain.
I kept the key to my heart
    And never gave it away.

    When I grew older
    I realized that
    I am the only one
    Who can turn the key
    And open my heart.

    When my heart is open
    And free, my face
    Is soft and open
    And the whole Universe
Is full of Love and Kindness.

    If my face is
    All scrunched up and
    Full of fear,
    The universe is fearful.

    Keep soft,
    Keep open,
    Keep kindness
    In your heart,
    And walk on the path
    Of Love and Compassion.
