  • Advice to Struggling Mothers

Even when you feel like the lowest of the low,
keep going. Make sure you, and your children
are OK. It’s worth it for that first smile.

When the whole day is a massive horror-
hold onto that one thing that makes it better.
    Remember, tantrums aren’t forever.

Don’t compare yourself to other mothers,
    your child to other children.

Take each day as it comes.
    Don’t let yesterday taint today,
(with each sunrise comes a new day)
this is so hard to do, when the bad days
    beat you down.

    Talk to your friends. Sometimes,
you just want to feel. It’s important
to feel, even if there’s insecurity in
    showing the real me.

With each stage comes new challenges.
