  • I've been a college student for the past 7 years, and I'm currently working towards my second degree. While I love studying, it's hard. Until last year, I never realized how important it is to have a passion on the side.

In March 2011, I found mine. Together with a co-worker, I went climbing and I fell in love. The adrenaline, the fear, but also the drive to push yourself is what got me. Now, I go climbing at least twice a week, and I spend my free time planning trips and preparing for some rock climbing trips in the summer.

That co-worker, also a passionate climber, is now my boyfriend. I've come to realize that having a passion is even more fun when you have someone to share it with. No matter how stressed I am, going out there and climbing up a wall makes me feel better, no matter what.

I just can't wait for temperatures to rise and to go outside again. Watch out rocks, here I come!
