  • In my hometown lived a man called Edvin. He was born in the early 20s and was a metal worker by trade. 30 years ago he started using his craft to create sculptures, statues and monuments, many based on sagas and fairytales. He placed them in the sparse forest along a footpath near his home - men, women, animals, birds, trolls, rocking chairs, sleds... 200 creations all in all, created out of scrap iron.

    Now Edvin is gone, dead three years back. Walking that footpath though, you can bear witness to one mans creativity and productivity. A legacy indeed.
