He's a walking repository of Detroit music history, and his knowledge came to him by way of platform boots and studded belts. Dan's the proprietor of Showtime Detroit, a rock and roll clothing store on Woodward Ave near East Palmer. He's been outfitting musicians from Detroit and beyond for more than 20 years. It was tough asking him to talk about Showtime because, as he says, "I'm incredibly shy and not good at talking."
