  • First impressions as our long-tail boat crashed with a heaving thud on the suddenly shallow beach... Holy Shit.

The sole of my foot was bleeding steadily, all of my belongings were clutched around me and soaking wet. All vanity long cast aside, my sunglasses crooked and hazy with sea water droplets, hair---the antithesis of whatever sexy "beach hair" is, and face undoubtedly twisted into some glorious expression of confusion, elation, and discomfort... This is the most beautiful place I have ever met! I want to make pulsating, sweet, unbridled, breathy, beautiful love to what my eyes see now!

As we shifted our things and ourselves out of the boat, we stumbled like bleary eyed cast aways inland.
