  • "It is May Day, the ancient festival of Beltane, the midway point between the vernal equinox and summer solstice.

Beltane celebrates the fertility of the earth and the fertility of our own souls. It is a call to gratitude that everything in the universe is continually being re-created, including ourselves." Joan Borysenko, from Pocketful of miracles.

Happy Beltane, everyone - we've made it! It's May already! I don't know about you, but for me, this April was a bit of a bitch. I'm glad to have it behind me.

Today feels like a whole new day, as we embark on one of my favorite Months of the year. Get outside today, and enjoy that long awaited spring weather. Breathe it in. Breathe out any troubles or worries. Just for this day, embrace and enjoy the day. Don't let a damned thing get you down, just for this day. It is, after all, Beltane.

    Dig it.
