  • Last year, you may recall, I had a modest garden that produced tomatoes in several varieties. With the weather turning nice again, I have decided to expand it just a bit. So yesterday I did a bit of digging and sawing and this is the result.
  • The new garden bed measures about 8' square and will accommodate tomatoes, peppers of several varieties, a row of onions, a row of carrots, and a row of herbs.
  • The sun this morning was just too perfect not to show you.
  • This is only the first stage. I am off to the local nursery to gather up a bag of sand (for drainage), two bags of garden soil, and the seedlings to begin the planting. I am hoping the yield will surpass expectations, and that the weather this year will be more conducive to the harvest.
  • Ms. Olivia wanted to wave "Hello" to you all.

Hope your day is wonderful. I'm pretty sure mine will be.

By the way, I think you will agree the Peer Gynt Suite #1 for orchestra entitled Morning is the perfect accompaniment for this story. And even if you don't, I can see you kicking back in your chair and enjoying it like I am.

    Prayers and Blessings, my friends.
