  • When I am alone in someone else's house an insecurity from childhood haunts me but music helps to sooth my restless mind.

So when I was taking care of my sick grandson yesterday I turned on a classical music radio station and was soothed by the sound of a flute's notes, soaring and dipping like a swallow, flying through the fields of my mind. A harpsichord joined in with light hearted scales, making sure the bird did not fly too far. Then flute and harpsichord played in harmony until I felt calm and secure.
