  • The blessing of elder age is Freedom regained.
Free now, like an unfettered child, to Be before Beauty and recognize it.
A raiment, nourishing my work worn soul.
    Drench me, languid moments.
Let me sit sultry in the heat lit window and sweet dream until dreams manifest.
Let me surrender timeless to earth gazing though trees, swaying, brave.
    Daylight. Nightlight.
A reminder that perfection sings its aria, wind born, ear met.
That chance can organize random masterfully.
    That original is ever birthing.
That I can take as long as I want to remain in this place of celebration and simply applaud with a smile.
That my life can be spare, wondrous.
How tremendously lucky to savor these slow and tender golden years as I retire into sheer free reverie.
