  • Dear Etsy Shop Owner,

I received my order yesterday. Thank you so much for following up to ensure it reached me.

I love the purchase. That being said, I do have one question. First, please regard the attached photo. In the description of the article, it is defined as a condom holder. To be honest, that was the main reason why I purchased it. As you can plainly see, the article I bought from you is at least half the necessary size to hold a condom that is still in its package and using your box to hold a condom out of its package, before it is used, is not considered a best practice.

Perhaps where you reside, condoms must accommodate a different type of ... physique, at least in the Bay Area where I live. Or, perhaps you don't have much experience using condoms. Either way, you have my pity rather than my condemnation. I'm sure your description was not a deliberate mis-representation because I simply don't live in that type of world.

I'm not requesting restitution because, as I've already written, I will still enjoy my purchase even though it won't be used for its intended purpose. I'm merely trying to be helpful. If you continue to sell condom holders, perhaps it would be best if you ensure they can hold condoms designed for any region of America and not purpose built to hold condoms especially made for people in areas such as, let's say, Vermont or New Hampshire or Pennsylvania. Or, perhaps, it's best to omit that suggested use altogether.

I'm merely trying to be helpful.

    Best regards,

PS - For God's sake, please, whatever you do don't ever sell this size of a "condom holder" to people in Texas. The world has enough of a problem with the size of the Texan ... uhm ... ego.
