  • You were assigned to me last year, and I to you, probably around February-March. Your contract must have already expired.
Or that the purpose of 'us' has transpired so much through this journey, and that it's time for both of us to accommodate a new 'we.'

I hope I wasn't too difficult. Or if I was, you must have enjoyed and learned so much from me as much as I have had from you.
You gave me so much freedom, and from that I learned how to control and how to make decisions of and on my own.
You gave me so much freedom, yet you always had a way to make your presence felt and known.

The hanging elephant ornament bathing in sunset light by my balcony window, creating optimistic streaks of your shadow on my blank wall on a dementedly hopeless Sunday afternoon.
You nudging my full cup of coffee onto the floor, seeping into my carpet. Me, negligently using the piles of tissue paper as a midwife, eventually becoming your medium of emergence, from which you awakened.
Awakened me, and came to light. Came to life.
Us, saluting to each other and recognizing our 'being'. It was very respectful and loving.

Since then, we learned from each other. We supported each other. We grew. We expanded.

And one evening you decided to fall off my wall like a feather. You could no longer bear the weight.
You have taken so much of it from me.
We were pulled together by gravity. And by this same gravity we find each of our own 'me'.
    But we do not flee.
We are heavy, but we fly.

You have been very powerful in the past 5 obstacular (obstacles spectacular!) months of transiting journey to the ever present.
And as in the beginning when we first allowed each other's energies to connect, I greet you with the same loving and hopeful intention - be free and be happy.

Thank you for the freedom and the guidance, Ellie.
Joy and strength be upon THE dance with your next unsuspecting mentee. :)
