  • I have this friend whom I call Mr. Brownie. He is an old charming guy with amazing sense of humor. We met when I was looking for a summer job in California back in 2006. He was a friend of a friend and invited me to work for 2 days in his printing company Minuteman. He would take me around by car while delivering printed papers to his clients.
He once took me to the best bakery in the world (his words) and treated me with a nice piece of fresh brownie. After a week or so I was passing by his house and since he wasn't home I left a piece of brownie at his door. After that he sent a bunch of brownies to my place. This brownie exchange continues the whole summer. I went back to visit him in the Summer of 2008. But since then I haven't. We keep exchanging emails and letters (he is old so he prefers to send postcard:).

Last time he sent me a card with a flying girl (not the one on the picture). And he became even closer to me because i AM a flying girl and he somehow figured it out.

He is one of those people in my life whom I dont see very often but whom I think about every day and whose smiling face is always there in my memory.
