  • Wide awake in the middle of our bed, I imagine you here holding my hand looking at the ceiling. Telling me anything and everything.
All I can do is listen and hold your hand, hold your heart in mine. I gaze at you, transformed by your energy my soul sings the soundtrack to your stories.

You are here with me Forever and A Day.

Sitting still in the middle of our living room, I imagine you here with your head relaxed on my chest. My heart beats elevate as you tell me your dreams. You tell me about our wedding, how lavish but small it will be. You tell me about our honeymoon, how we will travel to a far off place where we are the only people we know. You tell me about our family, three, four kids maybe. How they will run us ragged but our love for them will be as powerful as our love for each other.

You are here with me Forever and A Day.

Walking down the street, I imagine you here with me hands locked, hearts woven into each others mental, physical, emotional and spiritual spheres. We are not talking, we are just walking thinking about how we got here, old and spent but still together. Our children are grown and building their own love affairs. Our work seemingly done in this life., we prepare for the next life united with God and together Forever and A Day.

I am here waiting for you. I am here imagining you. I am here in love with you now, tomorrow and Forever and A Day.
