  • I really don’t understand, can you tell me again?
My head was filled with thoughts that I could not comprehend
thoughts that no eleven year old should have to understand.

They compared it to a story that I can almost uncertainly remember
but this story would not have one of “those” happy endings.
Children going awry when they have nowhere to run to, no one to talk to.

I didn’t think of it much at the time, but that was a really rubbish story.
Even as it is still being written, there is a plot twist on every page.
Just as there are potholes in every road worth fixing.

I haven’t finished reading that story,
but I’m hoping for all that I’ve been through
It will turn out to be much better than the beginning.
