  • In April last year, I was admitted to the nearest hospital with pneumonia. It came out of nowhere. I thought it was a normal flu when it started. On the 4th day, with no relief, I went to the hospital. After 3 hours of tests and waiting, I was admitted straight away for pneumonia, and also to rule out tuberculosis.

I spent 5 days there. Being on my own after in a hospital room was strange - you start to get all philosophical, and think about everything so much more than normal. Admittedly, I didn't have much to worry about - some medicines and rest was all it eventually took.

I'd only recently downloaded Instagram. This was amongst the first few pictures I took using the service. I was taking pictures of pretty much everything in my small room, being confined to it for 5 days.
